Tierra Nursing Home
Located near the Iwakuni Interchange on the Sanyo Expressway, this is a nursing home for the elderly that also provides day care services. We planned the facility to meet the client's request for a spacious, hotel-like atmosphere.
The first floor houses the day care department and rooms for severely disabled residents, with administration, recreation and dining spaces in the center, and the second to fourth floors are for residents. By leaving ample space in the dimensions of the corridors and other areas that serve as traffic lines, the interior has a generous feel that differs from the typical "nursing home." In addition, the impressive exterior with its curved roof has made it a landmark in the area .
