Tierra 2, a paid nursing home for the elderly
This nursing home is located near the Iwakuni Interchange on the Sanyo Expressway . Generally, in cost-first plans, the dimensions of each part and the overall area are minimized, but in this project, we attempted to balance costs and create an overall plan with a generous dimension system that leaves as much space as possible in shared spaces, rooms, corridors, etc. By giving each part spacious dimensions, we prioritize the comfort of the residents.
On the exterior, the building is designed to integrate the whole with the frame and semicircular roof, in relation to Building 1, which stands on the adjacent site.
